Who the fuck are you?
Hi, my name is Adam. I play guitar and write songs. I’m from Bournemouth in the UK but now live in London (also in the UK!). Isn’t that nice? From 2003 to 2009 I played solo acoustic, but now I also play full electric with my band ‘Adam Boucher & The Dead Set‘ – Currently Jon Zarych on bass and Tony Plaster on drums (previous members: Naomi Scott on bass, Johnny Yeates and Steve Zsolnai on drums).
I’ve toured the UK 7 times now and loved every minute of it. Don’t get me wrong though, we’re not talking epic tours here. I’m not some hardened road warrior like Henry Rollins, but I did survive most of it on my own, in my fiesta. Rock and roll!
I release my music on my own label zu-bean records and you can download most of it for free, because I’m nice like that. You can still buy stuff, should you feel so inclined, either at gigs or from the online shop/iTunes etc or make a donation. There’s a few releases that aren’t available anymore, largely because they suck. I wouldn’t bother looking for them! Click the link below for free music:
In the time I’ve been playing I’ve had the good fortune to play gigs with some truly amazing and inspirational acts, including: Chris T-T, Evan Greer, Frank Turner, Thomas Truax, Dave Hughes, One Night Stand In North Dakota, Oxygen Thief, Jim Lockey & The Solemn Sun, Naomi Hates Humans, Ben Marwood and Babar Luck. There are no doubt many more I’ve forgotten. Sorry!
Gigs
It’s relatively easy to book me for a gig. I prefer playing gigs with the band wherever possible, but I’m also totally happy playing solo acoustic still, if and when the need arises.
If you’re interested, drop me an e-mail and I’ll see what can be sorted. I’ll play anywhere from living rooms solo acoustic and unamplified to er, venues with a PA!
